Partnering with a fantastic company, looking to expand their team and take on a Treasury Assistant. This is a brilliant opportunity, with scope to get involved with a lot more than the average Treasury role.

  • Salary: Up to £34,000
  • Location: London
  • Hybrid: 2 days in the office, 3 from home

What to expect?

  • Take ownership as the primary point of contact for system support on the Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and troubleshooting issues.

  • Prepare and process journals accurately, supporting timely and efficient month-end close activities.

  • Perform key reconciliations, ensuring financial data integrity and highlighting any discrepancies.

  • Manage payment processing including BACs, CHAPs, and Faster Payments - ensuring transactions are executed correctly and on time.

  • Get hands-on with a variety of ad-hoc treasury tasks, offering exposure across the wider finance function.

  • Contribute to project work, focusing on automation, streamlining processes, and enhancing the quality and clarity of treasury reporting and data output.

  • Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, offering a well-rounded view of cash management and operational finance.

What skills/experience can you bring?

  • Treasury Experience: Proven background in a Treasury Operations role, ideally handling high-value cashflows and using TMS systems such as FIS Integrity.

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SAP, Blackline, and other finance systems, with a strong focus on process improvement and automation.

  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Able to balance big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to detail, delivering high-quality outputs aligned with business goals.

  • Strong Communicator & Collaborator: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across teams and with financial stakeholders.

  • Proactive & Improvement-Focused: Curious, self-motivated, and continuously seeking ways to enhance systems, processes, and personal development.
