Workday Specialist - Time & Absence

Our client requires a Workday specialist with particular knowledge of Time & Absence for 6 months initially.

· Day-to-day management, support and configuration in Workday and support the initiative for Workday being the golden source of employee information and process.

· Provide Workday Absence and Time Tracking specialism support.

· Support in Absence and Time Tracking related projects both regionally and globally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Day-to-day management of Workday, including but not limited to system support, trouble shooting, configuration, testing and training.

· Deep understanding of Workday configuration with an onus on Absence and Time Tracking.

· Primary contact for Absence and Time Tracking activities - cyclical; regular and ad hoc related.

· Extensive experience of creating and executing EIB's.

· Managing stakeholders and knowledge sharing to ensure that changes are effectively communicated.

· Global Lead for Absence/Time tracking for EMEA

· Manage Workday change requests and oversee execution.

· Identify opportunities to align processes and approaches in current systems to facilitate future alignment.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential:

· Workday experience in HCM/ Absence & Time Tracking/EIB's


Preferred:

· Workday Recruit Experience

· EIB experience

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Functional / Technical Competencies:

Essential

· Good working knowledge of Workday, ideally in a complex multi entity and multinational organisation.

· Ability to configure complex requirements without external support with a particular focus on Absence and Time Tracking specialism.

· Ability to understand the 'touchpoints' of Workday and Workday configuration, and undertake a risk analysis of the activities of a request based upon previous experience.

· A good level of commercial understanding being able to manage reporting requirements and be able to translate business requirements to technical solutions and manipulate data to give insights and trends.

Preferred:

· Excellent excel skills and be able to work with data from multiple sources to produce meaningful reports.
