Overview

Over the years we have supported a varied selection of wonderful charities. Each year we embark on a journey to raise as much money as possible, as well as raise awareness for the cause. In more recent years we have focused on smaller charities where we feel that we can really make a difference.

Below you can see a selection of charities that we have previously supported.

St Mungo's

St Mungo’s outreach teams go out each night to meet people who are homeless and to help them off the streets. With 17 outreach teams we are one of the largest providers of outreach services in the country. Each night they offer a bed and support to more than 2,850 people across the south and south west. We believe that people can – and do – recover from the issues that cause homelessness. They work to prevent homelessness and support people at every step of their recovery from homelessness.

Investigo raised an incredible £107,605 for charity last year – the most we’ve ever raised in a single year – thanks to our company charity drive, the Big Investigo Give.

Around £85,000 of this total went to our charity partner St Mungo's, raised through initiatives such as the Three Peaks Challenge, charity football tournament, Big Investigo Run and Cycle, and Peloton challenge, as well as bake sales and our charity quiz, which on its own amassed an astonishing £31,000.

Centre for Mental Health

Over the course of 2018 we wholly funded a research project that brought together best practice across the UK from our Local Authorities approach to earlier intervention for those who require help. This research document has been published and presented to the House of Lords to directly influence change across the whole of the UK. You can hear Centre for Mental Health’s, Sarah Hughes, talk a bit more about the research project and Investigo’s involvement here.

We always set ourselves ambitious targets when it comes to fundraising. For our partnership with Centre for Mental Health we raised over £50K.
