We are currently looking for an ambitious, highly driven, and enthusiastic Trainee Accountant at the beginning of their career to join a Global Organisation based in Chelsea. My client is offering you the opportunity to build your financial accounting skills, within the UK Finance talent pool, which will offer exposure to exciting projects, as well as providing you with different career options within accounting or commercial finance over time.

The position provides excellent opportunities to build experience, and from the start you will work closely with your manager as a key contributor to the accounting team. They will support you starting a Financial qualification after 6 months successful probation period. You will also have opportunities to work on individual and team projects such as process improvements, data analysis, and presentations to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts receivable process management and customer outreach
  • Managing customer accounts database, analysing repayment data, reviewing delinquent accounts.
  • Analysing and prioritising delinquent account review and outreach.
  • General ledger entries, cash management, and accounts payable functions
  • Actively work to improve processes and implement new initiatives.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Office programs
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work on a diverse team, deadline and goal oriented
  • Fluent in English, additional language(s) a plus

Additional information:

  • ACCA / Financial Qualification support after positive 6 month probation
  • Staff MBA degree after 2 years continuous employment
    • Sitting with central finance team (~6 team members)
    • Working hours official 8:30-5:30. Most staff start between 8-9:30
    • 2 Flexible working days (work from home) standard
