Required experience

  • Extensive experience within portfolio management / PMO / change & transformation.
  • Deep understanding of Agile mindsets, concepts, processes and procedures, especially as related to portfolio management.
  • Experience with enabling a portfolio management or change / transformation function to migrate from legacy / traditional project delivery approaches to modern agile approaches.
  • Portfolio management certifications e.g. Management of Portfolios (MoP), SAFe Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Experience managing relationships and influencing at the senior executive level.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, maintenance, adoption, and refinement of agile, customer-centric portfolio
  • Champions agile methodology and its adoption across the business unit.
  • Ensure the overall portfolio is aligned with & prioritised against strategic objectives.
  • Provide "Air Traffic Control" overview of in-flight change against business imperatives, ensuring the operational peaks and troughs are taken into consideration when planning change.
  • Provide a single consolidated agile portfolio view of all in flight and pipeline initiatives / value streams across the portfolio.
