Assistant Accountant

Investigo are excited to be working with a client based in Cheshunt who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a temp to perm basis!

The role:

• Prepare bank statements to enable bank allocations are ready for CC
• Processing of purchase invoices
• Resolving supplier queries with suppliers/procurement Scanning purchase invoices onto the document management
• Reconciliation of GRNI to the suppliers
• Processing of employee expenses
• Daily reconciliations of bank accounts
• Preparing month end journals for review
• Customer and supplier rebate calculations
• Prepare and calculate depn in FAR
• Prepare and analyse daily commercial reports
• Stock reconciliation and provision Any other ad hoc duties given by senior

Profile:

• Actively studying, AAT, CIMA or ACCA
• A good level of IT/PC literacy, particularly in the use of MS Office applications is essential
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced office environment
• Good communication and organisation skills and an ability to prioritise tasks
• Able to work alone and as part of a busy team

Temp to perm opportunity

Salary circa - £35,000 to £37,000
