Assistant Partnership Accountant / Tax Accountant

This is an incredible opportunity for a professional, personable and knowledgeable Assistant Partnership Accountant! This role is working one of the top law firms based in London.

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: City of London / Hybrid working x3 days in office x2 from home

Contract: Permanent / full time role

• Working closely with the Head of Finance and the Senior Partners of the firm
• Preparing the partnership tax calculations
• Managing tax returns
• Working with the partners and reconciling the ledger
• Preparation of annual profit-sharing calculations
• Periodically prepare and distribute partner statements
• Perform tax equalisation's
• Review the need for capital requirements for partners
• Preparation and submission of VAT return
• Support in some exciting projects

Skills and personal attributes

• Excellent communication skills and able to liaise with Senior Partners
• Strong Finance & Tax knowledge / part qualified
• Strong excel skills
• Knowledge of currencies as they are a global law firm
