Business Test Lead - Insurance Data Migration

Business Test Lead required by a leading London Market Insurer to support a large insurance run-off / divestment project. The Business Test Lead will take responsibility for the end to end testing capability for a series of work packages involving application data migrations and archivals.

Required skills

  • Strong insurance industry background, preferably in the Lloyd's market
  • Strong business analysis and test capability experience
  • Experience of data migration and archival
  • Experience of working with technical architects
  • Experience of working with outsourced and /or external third-party suppliers/partners
  • Strong understanding and experience of business process mapping and reengineering

Business Test Lead - Insurance Data Migration

Key responsibilities

  • Translating work package requirements and objectives into test plans and scripts
  • Analysing processes and data flows through effective engagement with the business
  • To explore solution(s) to the customer's requirements and to recommend the best approach
  • Promote adoption of the target processes and procedures
  • Provide advice and guidance on functional interdependencies identified during requirements analysis
  • Capture identified risks or issues
  • Managing to and reporting on a delivery/test plan
  • To peer-review the work of other business analysts and other project team members upon request

This is a fixed term contract position (annual salary with full benefits / holiday etc) and will offer a mix of office / homeworking.
