Commercial Finance Analyst - Manufacturing Excellence
Location: Watford (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Attractive Bonus & Benefits Package
Sector: Progressive Manufacturing

Are you a commercially astute Finance Analyst looking to make a genuine impact in a forward-thinking manufacturing environment? My client is embarking on an exciting growth journey and requires a dynamic finance professional to join their team.

About Our Client
Our client is a market-leading manufacturing business with innovation at its core. They've established themselves as pioneers in their sector through continuous investment in technology, sustainability initiatives, and their people. With ambitious growth plans for the coming years, they're seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst who can provide valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making.

The Role
As Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll work closely with senior leadership to translate financial data into actionable business intelligence. This isn't just about number-crunching - it's about challenging the status quo, identifying opportunities, and influencing key stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing insightful management information and KPI reporting to support strategic decisions
  • Partnering with operational teams to drive performance improvements
  • Leading financial modelling and analysis for new business opportunities
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process with commercial acumen
  • Identifying cost optimisation initiatives while maintaining operational excellence

The Successful Candidate
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or possess equivalent experience, with a proven track record in commercial finance. Beyond technical expertise, we're looking for someone with:

  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills - able to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance colleagues
  • The confidence to challenge and influence at all levels
  • Strong analytical abilities combined with commercial awareness
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)

Most importantly, you'll bring enthusiasm, personality, and fresh thinking to the role. We're looking for someone who can build relationships easily and become a trusted business partner.

What's On Offer

  • Competitive salary up to £65,000
  • Performance-related bonus scheme
  • Comprehensive benefits package including enhanced pension
  • Hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days office-based)
  • Clear progression opportunities
  • Investment in your professional development
  • Collaborative and innovative company culture
