Job Title: Corporate Development Manager
Location: Central London (hybrid with 2-3 days in the office)
Salary: £80,000 - £85,000+ 30% bonus
My client is a high-growth, international Real Estate business who are currently hiring for a Corporate Development Manager to join their impressive M&A team. You will support the company's transformative growth agenda by leading transaction services, deal execution and financial modelling. If you are comfortable moving from a Big 4 transaction services/M&A team into a high impact corporate development role or have experience within corporate development since leaving audit then this would be an exciting next step.
This is an integral role in the business where you will have the opportunity to act as a key adviser to senior stakeholders, providing clear financial insight, robust modelling, compelling presentations and confident communication across the business and external parties.
Responsibilities will include:
- Financial modelling and value assessment of M&A, JV and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain financial models reflecting deal scenarios, integration planning, sensitivities and value creation opportunities.
- Prepare high-quality presentations for senior management and Board
- Liaise with audit, transaction services and investment banking teams, ensuring financial statements are properly understood and interrogated.
- Provide insight into acquisition targets, market trends, synergies and integration implications.
- Support post-deal integration activities, tracking actual versus plan, identifying performance variances and reporting findings.
- Work cross-functionally to drive deal process from concept through to execution and post-completion.
- Demonstrate resilience in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
What You'll Bring
- Qualified (ACA) with experience in a Big 4 audit environment and subsequent experience in transaction services (M&A / due diligence)
- Strong financial modelling skills, including scenario/sensitivity modelling, integration modelling and commercial forecasting.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience engaging with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and ability to think beyond the numbers to the business implications.
- Experience of working in an international organisation
