Investigo is currently seeking a Data Scientist for one of its large manufacturing clients. In this role, you will join a newly formed and expanding data science team.

Your responsibilities will involve the retrieval and cleansing of data, whilst also utilising it when needed for the whole organisation. They are looking at ways to improve their data by utilising ML across the whole organisation. This role would see you join a team of 3 data scientist and have a real say on how the team moves forward. Reporting directly into the Head of Data Science gives you a great opportunity to take full ownership of the projects. They are looking for someone who can be the number 2 to the Head of Data Science.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Principal Software Developer will have the following skills:

• 1+ years commercial data science experience
• Drive data initiatives, generate data sets, perform feature engineering, and develop scalable ML models
• Monitor and maintain production models, developing long-term processes, frameworks, and standards
• Engage with business stakeholders, collaborate with the data engineering team, and support analytic teams
• Promote data-driven decision-making, develop ML models, visualisation tools, and analytics to support business strategy
• Promotion opportunity as the organisation is growing out its data science team you will be reporting directly to the head of data science
