Job description

Investigo are currently supporting a corporate organisation in Northampton with its recruitment campaign for a Employment Screening and Governance Analyst
To provide subject matter expertise on the content and delivery of the companies People Screening Policy and associated Standards, and support the global Screening line teams in carrying out employment screening of all new employees.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive the correct delivery and adherence to the People Screening Policy & Standard.
  • Review and provide guidance or interpretation of screening escalations in line with the content of the Policy, Standard and associated guidance, to candidates, stakeholders and HR partners
  • Actively support all audit activity/business performance reviews
  • Provide training/guidance on screening standard requirements and screening processes
  • Document and escalate as appropriate screening & contracts related risk events
  • Collation of data for Weekly/Monthly/Annual/ad-Hoc reports as required
  • Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Operational Risk Framework and internal Company Policies and Standards
  • 1st line review of remediation plans for screening or employment agreements policy breaches
  • Identify and document issues with our outsourced screening provider, and raise any concerns about performance or operational issues to management.
  • Attendance and collation of local or global service meetings
  • Provide Screening & Contracts support for Talent Acquisition and Business projects
  • Provide SME support for Talent Acquisition Operations (TAO) to ensure consistent governance and controls are embedded into the TAO delivery models
  • Attendance where required at service improvement forums


Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience and/or good working knowledge of a pre-employment screening process/ service, preferentially in a financial service environment
  • Understanding of end-to-end resourcing/ on boarding processes and policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills along with the ability to communicate information clearly and commensurate with the needs of the audience
  • Working knowledge/ experience of Risk and/or HR risk policies and their operation
