Historically the business has functioned using a set of systems and capabilities that have organically grown over time, they are not best of breed and not fit for the omni channel business that the organisation wants to be known for, their current systems eco-system is really a result of a multi-channel mindset the business has operated in. The organisation's aim is to understand the customer better than anyone and to drive loyalty from within their customer base. They want to engage with customers across all channels open to them from social and email, through to instore comms and loyalty schemes to give customers the very best customer experience.

This EA will need to be adept across the world of customer and marketing showing demonstrable experience across CRM platforms, customer data and marketing automation platforms, digital asset management and customer insights. You will be familiar with loyalty schemes and have a firm understanding of data monetisation. Experience with Adobe, salesforce end to end, google analytics and inbound and outbound solutions including omnichannel marketing cloud platforms is desirable.

This Enterprise Architect will need to be able to show an understanding of the different vendors and tooling options and how to stitch them together, therefore experience with data flows and the interoperability between systems is key. You will work with a range of vendors and systems integrators, there are several vendor commercials currently in play including customer data platform, data and analytics, customer insights platform and marketing automation platform so your experience in this regard will be key.

The customer team which this role supports and will be embedded within is a large and expanding team. Their remit is in the top 5 strategic priorities the business has currently, so it is very well invested in.

This is a rare an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Architect with significant experience operating across the customer and marketing space. You will need to be in Leeds 1 or 2 days a week.
