Financial Accountant
up to £40k + bonus
Hybrid Working / West London

I am looking for an experienced and highly capable Financial Accountant to join a Global Retail client of mine in West London. You will be joining a passionate and fun Finance team, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change, with main responsibilities including balance sheet reconciliations and managing aged creditors

Responsibilities will include:

* Responsibility for performing balance sheet reconciliations, including reconciling third party settlement reports (eg Shopify & Paypal) to bank control accounts in accounting software and investigating any differences.
* Weekly review of Aged Creditors, overseeing payment run and set up payments in the bank (Including BACS and international Payments).
* Weekly review of Aged Debtors, reviewing and resolving any outstanding and aged balances with wholesale customers.
* Management of company credit cards across departments, ensuing all expenses are recorded at month end and reconciled to the statement.
* Stock Returns to suppliers - reconciling the account and ensuring it agrees to the goods waiting to be shipped back in the warehouse. Providing monthly reconciliation to agree to the ledger.
* Updating the GRNI on daily basis, working with AP & AR Assistant to reconcile any differences between PO and Stock Invoice with the Warehouse and Merchandising departments.
* Helping the Financial Controller with other financial tasks and ad hoc reports as required.

Skills and Competencies:

* 2+ years in an established Financial Accountant Role or Management
* ACCA, CIMA or ACA Part Qualified, study support is available with the role
* Willingness to learn with a "can-do" attitude
* Understanding of debits and credits
* Accurate, logical, and concise approach to their work
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
* Proficient user of Excel (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables, etc)
* Excellent organisation, writing & communication skills
* Manages own time and prioritises workload effectively
* The spirit to work well in a team and thrive under pressure
