Financial Controller

Financial Controller required to cover for maternity for a period of 14 to 15 Months within a mid-sized central Hertfordshire based sales and distribution business.

Whilst reporting to the CFO the Financial Controller will be responsible for the day to day management of a small team and will take ownership of the following:

Monthly Management Reporting, Fixed Assets recording along with considerations, provision of technical insight around revenue recognition, impairment, Leases and hedging. Inventory control including third party warehousing, liaison with the CFO on pricing reviews, technical policies and process improvements, Liaison with external bodies on payroll, statutory, Tax and payroll requirements, oversight of cash-flow, supporting the FP&A accountant with balance sheet and forecasting, helping to develop BI tools, management and development of a small team and ad-hoc projects.

The ideal candidate will worked within a multi-currency sales/distribution business and will have exposure to development of processes and reducing period reporting cycles.

You will be a qualified accountant , ACA, ACCA or CIMA with good analytical skills with the ability to liaise and build relationships at all levels.
