Financial Controller

Commercial Divisional Financial Controller required for Manufacturing business based in Essex.

Whilst reporting to the Divisional Director of Finance and managing a team you will be largely responsible for the Business Partnering to aid the commercial decision making across the division.

Key accountabilities include: Contract and performance review, development of performance framework, creation of KPI's, Management and development of a small team, supporting the operations team as Finance Business Partner, attending operational review meetings, creating and maintain contract models to ensure revenue is maximised whilst keep risk to a minimum, budgeting and forecasting and provision of commentary around actuals, investment appraisal, interpreting financial data to non-finance management, cost management, improving and advising on financial performance, overseeing statutory reporting, quarterly VAT returns.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, CIMA, ACA or ACCA with a background as a Senior Finance Manager / Commercial Finance Manager within the Manufacturing or the facilities management sector.

You will be an exceptional communicator with the ability to gain the buy-in across all levels of management combined with a strong appetite to deliver profit.
