Financial Director / CFO

Financial Director / CFO required for Health-care provider based in Luton who have been going through an exciting period of growth.

Whilst reporting to and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer the Financial Director / CFO will be responsible for enhancing Financial Control, Systems and processes across the business and will play a major role in supporting ongoing investment appraisal and taking the business to the next level.

Whilst managing a small team you will take a hands-on approach to all aspects of finance with the main duties and accountabilities to include:

Ownership and development of Financial control and development of financial systems to ensure future growth can be accommodated, forming relationships with external bodies including banks and auditors, management and development of the finance team, investment appraisal and supporting ongoing commercial activities, taking ownership for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, ACA, CIMA or ACCA and could be Financial Controller looking to make the step up or someone who is currently a Financial Director

At this stage it is essential that you have worked in the private health-care sector and ideally within hospitals.
