Group Financial Controller

Due to accelerating growth my FMCG/Ecommerce client is hiring a Group Financial Controller to oversee all elements of Financial Control across the group

The business has a great product within a huge potential sector and is big on Wellbeing, Hybrid working, D&! and personal growth.

Whilst reporting into the CFO and following recent acquisitions your remit will be to enhance and improve the processes and financial operations whilst developing and mentoring a small team covering, Payables, Receivables, Cash, Bank and Forex

Accountabilities and duties will include:

• To ensure the smooth running finance operations team across AP and AR with a view to optimising working capital.

• Ensure appropriate cash flow modelling and subsequent management of banking relationship plus any associated debt facilities if required

• Ensure appropriate FX / treasury policy in place

• Ensure robust balance sheet controls processes in place as well as end to end process ownership of month-end trial balance creation

• Ensure control environment matures as policies and procedures are set up and rolled out to acquired companies

• Ensure robust close-process for management accounts and statutory accounts, including management of audit

• Ensure all tax matters (whether employment, corporation, value-added, sales or otherwise) are dealt with and appropriately filed

The ideal candidate will be a technically strong qualified Accountant preferably ACA o ACCA with a number of years post qualified exposure. Exposure to FMCG, Ecommerce being highly desirable

You will be commercially minded, possess strong leaderships skills and have the ability to work under pressure
