Group Financial Controller

Our client is a well established multi-brand business in Hertfordshire. Private Equity backed they are one of the fastest growing companies of it's kind and have built up a strong industry reputation over many years. They are currently embarking on a new strategic program across the group to tighten controls and increase business output. Highly entrepreneurial, this multi-million turnover business require a Group Financial Controller to become a key decision maker and contribute to strategic initiatives, challenge and improve decision making and develop management information, reporting, analysis and controls across the regions.

The role will be split will support all of the group businesses in all aspects of financial reporting and accounting matters and will include the supervision of a finance team, cash management, business integration and operational projects. The client requires a qualified accountant, ideally ACA (although other qualifications will be considered) with a number of years post qualified experience ideally gained within a growing corporate business at Senior Manager / Controller level. Exposure to group consolidations and transfer pricing would be ideal. Experience of working in a private equity business will hold a distinct advantage and a pro-active, intuitive mindset will be a pre-requisite
