HR Business Partner
North West London
12 month FTC
Up to £50,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a dynamic, fast-paced organisation and play a key role in shaping and delivering a high-impact people strategy. You will partner with senior leaders across multiple sites/functions, providing expert HR guidance that supports commercial goals, enhances colleague experience, and drives long-term organisational success.
About the Role:
As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a strategic advisor to managers and leaders, aligning people plans with business priorities. This is a hands-on, solutions-focused role requiring strong relationship management, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with leaders to translate business needs into clear and effective people initiatives.
- Use HR data (e.g., turnover, absence, performance) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide insight-led recommendations that balance commercial outcomes with a great colleague experience.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on HR matters, building credibility across a diverse, multi-site operation.
- Influence decisions and drive alignment across departments and stakeholder groups.
- Foster strong, collaborative working relationships across HR and the wider organisation.
- Lead or support organisational change projects, restructures, system implementations, and cultural initiatives.
- Develop and execute communication and change plans that ensure smooth transitions.
- Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and positive working practices.
- Coach and support managers to build confidence in handling performance, ER, and people management.
- Work with L&D/Talent teams to identify capability gaps and support appropriate development solutions.
- Support workforce planning, succession, and talent development to ensure the right skills and capacity for the future.
- Develop practical retention and talent strategies.
- Use people insights to anticipate challenges and recommend sustainable solutions.
- Provide pragmatic, legally compliant HR advice on a range of employee relations issues.
- Diagnose root causes of people challenges and implement effective, data-led solutions.
- Balance operational needs with fairness and best practice.
Skills & Experience
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
- Strong HR generalist background, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-site or customer-focused environment.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law.
- Experience leading HR initiatives and contributing to wider people strategies.
- Proven experience in change management (e.g., restructures, TUPE, transformation).
