Infrastructure Project Manager - Swift Payments

Technical Project Manager - Swift Messaging - Migration - SME - Outside IR35

Our FS client are looking for a Technical Project Manager to migrate legacy MT payment messages to the strategic MX equivalents. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of this project coordinating efforts across internal and external business end-users.

• Be the Swift subject matter expert, providing experience and analytical input into the process to help the client achieve an efficient and effective outcome.
• Write a short Project Brief with clear definition of scope, assumptions, high-level timelines, governance
• Build and track the project plan that covers high-level milestones, resource requirements, delivery tasks, interdependencies etc
• Analyse and specify the required technical development changes
• Run regular project delivery meetings to oversea the technical development
• Run regular Steering meetings to provide status update, raise issues & risks and drive timely decision making
• Drive the supplier to achieve the clients objectives
• Coordinate external & internal resources
• Stay abreast of Swift updates that are relevant to the delivery

Qualifications & Experience

• Mandatory: Minimum 3 years' experience of Swift Messaging infrastructure; specifically payment messages.
• Mandatory: Minimum 5 years' experience of IT Project Management and technical Business Analysis working in an IT / technology delivery team / department using a structured delivery methodology.
• Beneficial: experience of working with Finastra Total Messaging as a service provider.
• Beneficial: Experience of Transfer Agency Functions
• Desirable: Financial Services experience is an advantage.
