Interim Finance Business Partner

My client a rapidly growing FMCG business are looking for an interim Finance Business Partner to support their established sales team. The role will develop a strong working relationship with the sales team and influence strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Support and influence Sales in producing robust customer plans, covering volume, price, investment and margins.
• Actively attend sales business reviews and team meetings making relevant challenges where appropriate. Leading the financial aspects of the review.
• Challenge and support the development of the financial assumptions that underpin the sales plans.
• Work with Sales to prepare annual budgets and reforecasts, providing strong financial support throughout.
• Prepare monthly volume and customer/channel P&L analysis, providing deep insightful commentary on key variances that can be used to influence forward planning to ensure full year budgets and forecasts are delivered.
• Assess financial aspects of customer joint business plans and contracts using established financial evaluation tools providing relevant challenge and recommendations.
• Continually strive to improve processes and systems

The successful candidate will be an experienced Finance Business Partner with extensive sales team support. The ability to develop strong working relationships and influence senior stakeholders is key for the role.
