Interim Financial Accountant

Investigo Finance are recruiting an Interim Financial Accountant for a client based in Bedford.

In the position of Interim Financial Accountant Bedford, you will support the Group Financial Controller around tight robust financial controls during year end. Key duties to include:

* Ownership of monthly trial balance and balance sheet

* Prepare monthly manual journal review and commentary

* Production of full accounts in accordance with IFRS and GAAP

* Business partnering with multiple cost centres

* Monthly P&L reviews

* Review all UK and International cash reconciliations

* Prepare and submit the periodic VAT returns for multiple international countries and keeping abreast of any changes in local requirements

* Prepare Company statutory accounts

* Responsible for managing and overseeing interim and year-end audit and liaising with external auditors

* Ad hoc projects

The Profile

Qualified Accountant either ACA or ACCA

Strong technical accounting experience e.g. IFRS/GAAP

Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail

Experience in problem solving and working to tight deadlines under pressure

Salary

£250 to £300 day rate
