Job description
Our client a leader in their field are looking for an interim M&A Manager to support the business during a time of increasing acquisition activity. The role will manage acquisition processes from end to end, leading the relationships with the acquisition targets and external firms.
- Support the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, due diligence, valuation, and negotiation.
- Lead the Financial Due Diligence process for the regional Finance Director with support of external advisors.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modelling to evaluate potential acquisition targets.
- Develop and present detailed financial reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and operations, to ensure successful transaction execution and integration.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential M&A opportunities.
- Prepare and review transaction documents, including term sheets, purchase agreements, and other legal documentation.
- Support management of relationships with external advisors, legal counsel, and accounting firms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the M&A process.
- Provide post-transaction support, including integration planning, performance monitoring, and reporting.
The successful candidate will be MBA or CFA qualified with proven experience in M&A or corporate finance. Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills will be essential for the role coupled with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple projects simultaneously is also imperative for the role.
