Java Contractor

Exciting opportunity to join a large FinTech based in London as a Senior Java Developer.

Key duties include:

• Developing high-performance & low latency microservice applications using Java11, Spring Boot for matching engine, pre-trade unaggregated data, stop orders, turbos on equities.
• Implementing Algo trading logic for the market exchange for multilateral trading facility
• Processing real time feed for underlying instruments market price, news & analytics from London Stock Exchange Group's Refinitiv
• Handling incoming FIX messages in QuickFIXJ from market makers and brokers for NewOrderSingle, OrderStatusRequest and OrderCancelRequest and sending appropriate FIX response (ExecutionReport) by querying from matching engine or order query service.
• Integration of microservice based applications communicating with each other using Apache Avro messaging schema over peer-to-peer Low Latency Messaging (LLM).
• Streaming events to Kafka topic using Kafka Template (Spring for Apache Kafka library)
• Integrating applications with ELK stack for monitoring and tractability.
• Build and deployment automation using Bamboo plans
• Performing loadtest and fixing performance issues.
