NICHE RMS Configuration Specialist

Role: NicheRMS System Configuration Lead
Location: Hybrid - Southwest / Midlands & Remote
Rate: £450-£550 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6-12 months
Start Date: May / June 2025
Security Clearance: NPPV3 (active or previously held and eligible for renewal)

We are urgently recruiting on behalf of a UK Police Force for an experienced NicheRMS System Configuration Lead to support the rollout of a new NicheRMS platform.

Role Overview:

This role will take the lead on the configuration of the NicheRMS system, working as part of a wider implementation team. You'll be responsible for defining and building workflows, setting up user roles and permissions, configuring data inputs/feeds, and ensuring the system is tailored to operational requirements.

You will also support testing and refinement of configurations in line with project milestones and provide expertise on best practices for aligning NicheRMS capabilities with policing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the configuration of core NicheRMS modules and workflows

• Build and manage permissions, access controls, and role-based settings

• Configure interfaces and information feeds to support data flow between systems

• Support testing of configured elements and refine based on feedback

• Work closely with business and technical teams to align system setup with policing operations

• Provide expert input during design and implementation phases

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong hands-on experience configuring NicheRMS for a UK Police Force (directly or via consultancy)

• Ability to translate operational needs into effective system workflows and settings

• Confident working with stakeholders across departments and technical teams

• On-site up to 2-3 days per week

• Holds active NPPV3 vetting or previously held and eligible for re-clearance
