Payroll Project Manager

3 month interim contract

40K OR day rate

Investigo is supporting this well known client based just outside Milton Keynes who are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to support on a specific project relating to the furlough scheme.

The role will last circa 3 months and will involve validating the full HMRC furlough claim between April - August.

Ideally you will have working knowledge on how the furlough scheme worked, if not have strong experience with specific payroll projects.

Key Duties

  • Validate the full HMRC Furlough claim between April - August for our hourly paid and salaried employees through a start to finish
  • Manage the end-to-end claim process
  • Perform expert manual calculations
  • Work closely with HMRC with regards to recalculated payments
  • Work with our payroll provider to manage any system limitations
  • Be on hand to answer any questions or queries regarding furlough, HMRC and payroll
  • Provide a comprehensive Furlough report to provide to HRMC and audit
