Do you love being organised, running tight processes, and helping to foster a great culture and working environment? Do you have an eye for detail and the know-how to ensure things run smoothly and compliantly in terms of Health and Safety and HR obligations?

This role will sit at the heart of the company, in their London office. You'll be the heartbeat and go-to person to help and support our 90 person team on all things People, Office & Culture. It's a unique blend of 60% People Operations, 30% Office Management, and 10% Health and Safety.

Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of people processes and operations, ensuring a pro-active and thoughtful experience throughout. You'll be joining a small, tight-knit People & Talent team, who have a lot of experience between them. The individual we're looking for is a systems & admin enthusiast and is super organised, proactive and gets things done! You pride yourself on delivering consistent results while rolling up your sleeves - whether it be repetitive tasks, hosting an in-person event or implementing more efficient ways to run processes.

Main Duties & Accountabilities

People & Talent - Operations

  • Lead and manage all new hire onboarding, o boarding and change requests (promotions, role changes, personal information updates etc) and partnering with Payroll and IT to drive consistent communication, accuracy and cient processes
  • Manage Hi-Bob, our people friendly HR System, to keep our people data and reporting high quality and up to date.
  • Manage our benefits, salary review and shares issuance processes
  • Lead on pro-active and informative communications across the company - on 'need to know' info - ensuring our People Hub (internal website) is always up to date
  • Track Visa and right to work checks of our international workforce, to ensure compliance across the company
  • Manage all employee files and documentation - ensuring we are GDPR compliant at every turn

Constantly evolve our people processes and compliance

  • Champion high performance, continuous improvement, engagement and well-being at every turn - and help design initiatives and empowering ways of working that foster these outcomes

Office & Community Management

  • Ensure our London Office has the 'wow' factor - is managed effectively, filled with great food/drink and plenty of inclusive social and events to bring our team together regularly
  • Manage multiple suppliers and budgets - including: office maintenance, food/drink, events, people administration, benefits suppliers etc…
  • Ensure our business is fully compliant with Health & Safety requirements - lead on all policies, processes to ensure this
  • Ensure our hybrid/remote workers feel equally part-of-the-team - bringing our culture and community to life virtually and across our Slack channels
  • Drive productivity and effectiveness across teams by improving communications, and central operations
  • Organise company events, socials and activities
  • Support with room and diary bookings, travel, postage, printing and logistics
  • Support the Senior Leadership Team occasionally with ad hoc requests

About you:

  • 5+ years experience in HR role(s)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (comfortable playing a very visible role and working with management team members)
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and able to shift gears and switch focus fluidly
  • Superb attention to detail and thorough approach
  • Results oriented. With a 100% bias to action. You think proactively and enjoy delivering rapidly and moving onto the next thing.
  • Diplomatic, and supportive of others' diverse needs - a positive role model for our P&T team
  • Team player: you make your team more efficient and enjoyable
  • Passionate opportunist, driving pragmatic solutions, not winning arguments
  • Positive (cup is half full mentality) and growth mindset, great listener, friendly and approachable

The person who'll thrive in this role will be energised by playing 'host' and creating a positive (and hybrid) culture, organising events, community building activities and supporting logistics to bring teams together.

Supporting a growing business, you will be a key point of contact and 'go-to' person for people related tasks and questions. You'll champion a seamless, inclusive experience and relish on the opportunity to make a real difference. Someone who is serious about their job, but doesn't take themselves too seriously will enjoy this role.
