PMO Manager, Insurance

A global insurance organisation located located in London is looking to recruit an experienced PMO Manager. Reporting directly into the Head of Change the PMO Manager will responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of PMO standards across a large portfolio of work. The PMO Manager will also have a small PMO team and line management responsibility of a number of PM's and BA's. The team is in its infancy and requires a PMO Manager that can build and manage a robust long term PMO function.

Required experience

  • Proven experience of managing and leading a successful PMO within a large complex financial services organisation.
  • Broad Senior Level PMO with project / programme delivery experience.
  • Comfortable working in a newly formed and changing environment.
  • Strong communication / stakeholder management skills with experience of working with Senior Managers / Directors.
  • Confident nature with proven experience of leading and chairing meetings.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel / PowerPoint.

Key responsibilities

  • Resource Management of key projects.
  • Oversight of Steering Group Meetings for multiple cross division programmes.
  • Managing the implementation of consistent reporting.
  • Embedding methodologies and process.
  • Management of the end to end control process.
  • Coordination of the monthly forecasting process for programme / project teams.
