Project Manager - Insurance Run-Off / Divestment
Project Manager required by a leading London Market Insurer to support a large insurance run-off / divestment project. The Project Manager will manage a number of cross functional teams, working with senior stakeholders and sponsors to ensure the successful project completion.
Required skills
- Proven Project Management experience
- London Market insurance industry experience essential
- Experience of run-off arrangements and divestment's via reinsurance contracts
- Ability to develop clear, concise and compelling storyline for executive presentations
- Change management skills
Project Manager - Insurance Run-Off / Divestment
Key responsibilities
- Manage and motivate cross functional teams and third party suppliers to ensure projects are completed to tight deadlines and within budget
- Engage with senior stakeholders and sponsors to scope a workable and value adding project
- Identify risks and mitigation activities to ensure that the level of risk concerning a project is defined and managed
- Plan the project workstreams and activities and track and manage delivery
- Forecast and manage the project cash flows to ensure that the project is delivered on budget
- Engage with a broad set of stakeholders to identify and agree benefits targets
- Plan and manage the governance structure for the project and ensure that it functions effectively
- Estimate and manage the project resources - both internal and external
- Provide meaningful, and high quality, status reports that ensure that key stakeholders are kept appropriately informed
- Plan and manage the communication activities required to support the active engagement of impacted audience groups
- Manage the engagement of the project stakeholder to enable the project's successful implementation
- Prepare Requests For Proposals and manage the engagement and management of suppliers from negotiation to solution delivery
This is a fixed term contract position (annual salary with full benefits / holiday etc) and will offer a mix of office / homeworking.
