Senior Project Manager - LIMS Implementation Programme

Contract: 12 months (Outside IR35)
Rate: £550-£750/day + Accommodation + VAT
Location: Cambridgeshire (3 days/week on-site)- bust be easily commutable to cambridgeshire

Our client is undertaking a major transformation to implement a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), replacing legacy systems across their organisation. This is not a technical delivery role - the supplier will handle that. Instead, we're looking for a Senior Project Manager or Workstream Lead who can lead stakeholders on the journey with good coorindation and business readiness.

This role is all about leadership, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. You'll be the shepherd of the programme - helping scientists, lab technicians, and business users understand the journey, feel supported, and stay aligned.

We're looking for someone who can:

• Build trust and gain buy-in from scientific and operational stakeholders.
• Lead with empathy and clarity, helping people navigate change.
• Coordinate across teams and ensure business readiness.
• Translate programme goals into meaningful actions for end users.
• Bring energy, structure, and calm to a complex environment.

Experience in life sciences, Pharma or Research is essential, as is the ability to work confidently with scientific professionals. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives on bringing people together and making change happen but have experience with project management.
