IT Support Analyst

Are you an IT Support Analyst with a strong knowledge of ERP environments with a technical, methodical and intelligent approach to troubleshooting and problem solving?
We are currently looking for someone to join our expanding IT team as an IT Support Analyst for our ERP system and other applications. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the IT Support Team Leads in maintaining, monitoring and supporting relevant systems and resolving faults, as well as assisting on delivering small initiatives and projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide timely and effective resolution of incidents and requests to meet Targets (KPIs and SLA's).
  • Record, track, and document the lifecycle of an incident or request in the ITSM tool, including all troubleshooting steps, actions taken, from initial logging through to final resolution.
  • Maintaining, monitor and support relevant systems and resolving faults using ITIL best Practices.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with other Team Members, IT Support Team Leads, the Infrastructure Team, Project Teams and Third Party Suppliers escalating when required
  • To effectively manage the expectations of GW staff by providing regular communication via updates to the ITSM tool and other means.
  • Ensure technology policies, procedures and best practices are implemented and adhered to including ITIL and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
  • Ensuring that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers.


Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Experience supporting ERP systems such as Sage/ SAP/ Oracle/Dynamics 365/Navision or AX2012.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Server Technologies.
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework.
  • Previous experience using ITSM (helpdesk) applications.

Other Essential Information


Location: Nottingham, UK for 2 or 3 days per week and the remainder of the week can be worked remotely from home.
