Job description
VAT Responsibilities
- Support the procurement team in applying correct VAT codes when onboarding new suppliers.
- Prepare monthly reverse charge reports and review invoices from overseas vendors.
- Assist with reconciling VAT accounts against freight and shipping statements.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of UK VAT returns.
- Prepare VAT-related balance sheet reconciliations.
Employee Tax Forms (P46s / P11Ds)
- Responsible for the day-to-day preparation and filing of employee benefit and expense returns.
PSA (Pay As You Earn Settlement Agreement)
- Prepare the annual PSA return covering taxable employee benefits.
IR35 Compliance
- Support the process of determining contractor tax status.
- Monitor contract renewals and changes to ensure IR35 compliance.
- Assist with ongoing supplier reviews and ensure adherence to IR35 rules.
- Help resolve queries from hiring managers related to contractor status.
Other Employment Tax Duties
- Assist in reviewing and analysing employee expenses for tax compliance.
- Respond to employment tax queries from internal teams and HMRC.
- Support data management and reporting for employment tax purposes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on broader tax and compliance matters.

- Proven experience working on cross-functional projects.
