I am recruiting for a fantastic role for an experienced Treasurer / Treasury analyst to join a growing business within the Consumer industry. This role requires someone with excellent attention to detail, solutions oriented and with previous experience in a treasury role.
You will be responsible for managing the company's cash and bank balances, ensuring accurate and timely cash reporting for the business. You will prepare daily cash reports, conduct variance analysis, and support ad hoc reporting while collaborating with the wider finance team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with operational cash management/forecasting and optimisation of surpluses across the Group;
- Working with Group Treasury to improve cashflow forecast template
- Accurately produce a 13-week forecast
- Lead on consolidating our bank accounts and closing where possible
- Provide Finance stakeholders with daily bank balance updates
- Set up daily, routine and ad-hoc bank payments
- Complete authorisation of daily routine and ad-hoc bank payments where required
- Documentation, review and controllership over all treasury related tasks;
- To manage bank authorisation levels and establish control environment over the business cash balances
- Complete KYC procedures and setting up new users
- To be able to cover all Treasury Dealing activities whenever necessary
- Support Business Units and other stakeholders in treasury related matters
- Execute treasury, intercompany and other miscellaneous payments;
- Liaise with banks to resolve payment, transactional and operational issues.
Candidate specification:
- Broad, 'hands on' treasury experience - at least 2-3 years
- Ability to take control of tasks and complete
- Strong analytical skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Curiosity - desire to learn, understand and investigate
