x3 Graduate Assistant Accountants

Investigo are recruiting x3 Graduate Assistant Accountants for a client based in Milton Keynes.

In the position of x3 Graduate Assistant Accountant Milton Keynes you will report to the Senior Accountant and assist with all aspects of financial accounting. Other key duties to include:

• Manage portfolio of clients filing accounts with Companies House and HMRC.
• Calculating and filing quarterly VAT returns ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly accounts and assist with the audit process
• Posting quarterly bank statement journals
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients & performing general administration duties.
• Managing client relationships whilst building strong rapport and developing client loyalty.

The Profile

The successful candidate will need to have a strong academic background and early stages studying towards a

professional accountancy qualification either ACCA, CIMA or ACA

Ideally working for either an accountancy firm or within main stream finance in industry

Attention to detail and ability to adhere to tight month end deadlines

Strong communication skills

The Salary

£27,000 to £30,000 plus full study support and career progression on track to become an Accountant once qualified plus annual bonus circa £3k (client offering hybrid working 1 to 2 days in the office)
