On Friday 25th January, we held our annual End of Year celebration, where we brought the whole company together to recognise our achievements over the course of 2018 and to showcase the plan for the year ahead. While we recognise our top billing consultants each year, this year we introduced a new set of Investigo Awards to recognise and reward individuals across the business who went above and beyond in 2018. The categories included: New Starter, Director, Support Person and Investigo Person of 2018.
We wanted to share with you the well-deserved nominations and winners for the New Starter of the Year 2018.
Over the course of 2018, we welcomed 80 new people into our business. When recruiting individuals to work for Investigo, we look for those who display our values – expertise, commitment, passion and inclusivity. We acquired some brilliant hires throughout the year who have made a sizeable impact on the desk they are working on but who also great additions to their teams and the wider business.

And the winner was… Simon Shobrook, Associate Director
Simon only joined Investigo back in January 2018 to help launch our Public Sector Consulting team with Michael Thornton. From a standing start with no brand presence in the Public Sector IT space, Simon has built a team of three already, whilst billing a substantial amount, resulting in him attending two high achiever trips last year. Between them, Simon and Mike have sold project solutions into both the DWP and Home office, something Investigo has never done before. Simon is regarded extremely highly by all those around him and his transition into the business has been seamless, illustrating he is a fantastic fit for Investigo. We are excited to see what Simon brings in 2019, as he is certainly one to watch out for if 2018 was anything to go by.
