Consultant Spotlight - Ian Tittley
Welcome to Consultant Spotlight, a series where we highlight the talented professionals powering success at Investigo. In each edition, we dive deeper into one of our consultants’ backgrounds, expertise, and the impact they’re making across the business.
This time, we’re excited to introduce Ian Tittley, a specialist recruiter responsible for sourcing top-tier Data, AI & Machine Learning talent across the UK and Europe. Ian focuses on mid to senior-level roles, ranging from AI Governance Lead and Head of Data to Senior Data Engineers, helping organisations secure the expertise they need in these rapidly evolving fields.
Can you outline your role as a recruiter?
At Investigo I’m responsible for finding Data, AI & Machine Learning talent on a permanent basis for organisations across the UK & Europe.
What types of roles/ specific areas or industries do you find yourself recruiting for?
I’m mainly focused on Mid to Senior Level talent in Data, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. This ranges from AI Governance Lead, Head of Data, Senior Data Engineers…
Can you share a success story where you helped a candidate land a role that was a perfect fit for them?
It can be a tricky & chaotic market for candidates looking for their next permanent role – one particular placement comes to mind from a candidate that had been suddenly made redundant and I was fortunate enough to help them secure a new role in less than 2 weeks!
How do you see the future of recruitment evolving in the next few years?
AI has changed the face of recruitment already – both in good & bad ways. It’s going to be interesting to see what further impact it has on recruitment – I think it’s important to remind candidates to use AI to assist in their job search but not take away from the personal touch – make sure your CV is still fully focused on you and your skills, it’s your ticket to the interview!
How do you stay current with industry trends and recruitment best practices?
It’s great working with so many like-minded peers at Investigo and across The In Group, it means that you can quite quickly get up to speed with what’s happening in a particular market, and also what’s working well for your colleagues in terms of best practice/techniques.
If you’re looking to tackle your organisation’s hiring challenges or explore new leadership opportunities in Data, AI & Machine Learning, Ian would love to connect.
