Investigo expands offering with launch of new tax division
Investigo Recruiting has launched a specialist tax recruitment division. Based at its London head office, the tax team will focus mainly on the UK market, with the reach and the remit to hire globally.
Recruiting at all levels from newly qualified tax professionals to tax partners or heads of tax, the team will cover the full range of tax disciplines across corporate taxes, indirect taxes, people taxes, contentious tax, tax legal and front office structuring. Its creation will allow Investigo to bring a deep technical understanding of these niche disciplines and to build its clients’ tax functions from the ground up.
The team will be managed by Beth Williams, Associate Director, who has vast experience and an established network across the tax landscape. She said: “Investigo views the tax market as a significant area of opportunity and when they told me they were looking to create a recruitment division devoted to tax in its own right, I was very keen to come on board and start building a team. Despite an incredibly challenging year, Investigo has continued to invest in headcount and to grow its offering to cover new specialisms and markets, which shows its leadership’s level of ambition and desire to keep growing. Williams has a proven track record of placing tax professionals into roles of all levels, with particular specialist knowledge of the tax legal and front office structuring markets. She added: “We’ll be recruiting talented tax professionals for everyone from family offices and startup private equity funds to some of the largest financial services and FTSE 100 companies, both in the UK and globally. Our strength lies in our consultative approach and our ability to build productive relationships with our clients. In the coming weeks, I will be touching base with tax professionals from across our network to discuss their requirements, whether they’re looking for their next opportunity, for a single, special hire to revamp their tax function, or to build a new team from scratch.”
The tax division is the latest addition to Investigo’s growing portfolio of services, which already includes almost 20 recruitment specialisms and the brands Investigo Consulting, Investigo Executive and Caraffi.
