This is a temp to perm position which requires someone with excellent stakeholder engagement experience, the ability to work autonomously and experience with Net-suite is essential. The role will involve managing day-to-day accounting operations and financial coordination for entities in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Japan. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment that combines hands-on accounting, process improvement, and cross-border collaboration.

• Raise client invoices in NetSuite and ensure accurate project setup.
• Manage credit control and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Coordinate accounts payable processing and banking with external accountants.
• Manage employee travel and expense claims.
• Prepare and execute payment runs.
• Handle correspondence with suppliers, such as statements and remittances.
• Manage cash flow.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and upheld.
• Coordinate weekly with local Managing Directors (MDs) and act as the main liaison with external accountants.
• Maintain awareness of local GAAP requirements and compliance standards.
• Support the migration to NetSuite and contribute to system optimisation.
• Drive internal process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Candidate Specification:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 years' experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Proven ability to work with external accountants and local advisors.
• Experience working within international, multi-entity environments.
• NetSuite proficiency is essential.
• Familiarity with local GAAP in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy.
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, including Managing Directors.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
