A major central government department is seeking a G7-equivalent Project Delivery Manager to join them on an initial 6 month inside IR35 contract.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate policy into actionable implementation plans.
  • Lead realignment activities for:
    • Animal tracking and tracing.
    • Movement of animals.
• Skills & Experience:
  • Strong project delivery and planning expertise.
  • Ability to manage complex policy-driven projects.

Responsibilities:

* Lead end-to-end delivery of policy-driven projects, ensuring scope, timelines, risks, and resources are actively managed and aligned with organisational objectives.

* Coordinate research, data gathering, and stakeholder consultation activities to inform policy options, impact assessments, and decision-making materials.

* Translate policy requirements into clear delivery plans, roadmaps, and workstreams, ensuring cross-functional teams understand priorities and dependencies.

* Monitor progress against milestones, report status to senior leaders, and escalate delivery issues early while driving corrective actions.

* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating governance forums, workshops, and working groups that support policy development and implementation.
