Up to £52,936 per annum (including LWA)

1 day per week on site in London

I am delighted to be partnering this arms-length body in their search for an interim Resourcing & HR Services Manager. This role is immediately available and will be offered initially on a 6 month FTC, with the view to possibly extend or go permanent.

This is an exciting time to join this organisation as they embark on a period of growth. Currently sitting at 500 staff, they are looking to grow by 100% in the next 12-18 months.

The Opportunity

The Resourcing and HR Services Manager is responsible for delivering a high quality, efficient recruitment, and pay and employee administrative service for all staff groups across the organisation.

Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the recruitment services and HR admin function, ensuring that workloads are being effectively managed across the service to the expected quality standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

Responsible for leading and managing the Recruitment & HR Admin Coordinators to create an environment through which the team continuously improves and strives to provide service excellence.

To support the team in their efforts to deliver tangible improvements in the quality of the service offered in line with the organisational objectives.

Main duties and deliverables

  • Responsible for overseeing the full end to end employee lifecycle service to the organisation, working closely with recruiting managers in identifying, understanding and responding to their recruitment, selection, induction and on- boarding
  • To ensure that all employment checks are documented and carried out in accordance with theNHS Employers Employment Check Standards and Recruitment and Selection This will include:
    • Verification of identity / Right to Work
    • Employment history and reference checks Professional registration and qualification checks Criminal record, vetting and barring
    • Occupational Health checks
  • Management and maintenance of NHS Jobs and the Electronic Staff Records system (ESR), ensuring the systems are utilised fully in order to provide an efficient and timely recruitment service to the
  • To produce regular feedback reports and management information on recruitment
  • Responsible for the oversight of agency/temporary workers across the organisation, providing assurances to the Workforce Strategy Group (WSG) on matters including compliance with
  • Support senior/executive recruitment campaigns for the organisation, including the co-ordination of additional assessments such as personality profiling, psychometrics, numerical and verbal reasoning
  • Required to handle sensitive information such as unsatisfactory references or DBS data and communicate sensitively with all parties involved, to ensure the correct outcome is Supporting Recruitment Team members with queries around withdrawing of earlier conditional offers of employment and working with the Recruiting Manager to make an informed decision, supported by the HR & OD Management Team where required.
  • To ensure that resources are effectively managed within budget, and across teams ensuring cross cover is provided as
  • To hold external software and service providers accountable for their performance and raise concerns where services are not as expected.
  • To be accountable for the delivery of a fair and transparent recruitment service ensuring compliance with local and national policies and standards including the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Essential experience required
  • Substantial operational resourcing experience gained within a complex environment.
  • Experience of managing and leading team within a recruitment and HR Shared service environment, role modelling great behaviours in line with the organisations values and behaviours
  • Substantial previous experience of providing a customer focussed services
  • Capacity / resource planning
  • An understanding of the strategic approach to resourcing and selection
  • Working with processes, challenging, developing and implementing new processes
  • Developing assessment methods including competency based interviewing
  • Leading projects or working as part of a project team to a successful outcome using project management methodology
