Role Summary:
We require a skilled SCCM/SCOM engineer to support the removal of the Cherwell Asset Manager agent. The role will involve packaging, deployment, reporting, and monitoring activities to ensure a clean and controlled decommissioning process, with a focus on cost efficiency across 2025 and 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package and deploy a custom uninstaller for the Cherwell Asset Manager agent via SCCM, ensuring required distributables are preserved where still in use.
• Use SCCM (including CM Pivot) to report on agent installations and versioning across the server estate.
• Validate server/application dependencies through collaboration with application teams to prevent unintentional disruption.
• Build and maintain SCOM dashboards in line with Wholesale Monitoring Standards, including Exchange monitoring.
• Work closely with relevant teams to deliver a complete monitoring solution, ensuring the 2025 cost is maximised and the 2026 cost is minimised, in line with budgetary requirements.
