VP - Learning & Development - OUTSIDE IR35
Job description
My client is seeking a VP of Learning & Development for a 6 Month period of work to carry out the following duties -
Learning And Development
The VP will be responsible for heading up the Learning and Development (L&D) function, and will:
- Ensure the L&D team have a clear and results-driven strategy, that is aligned to corporate OKRs, and deliver consistently and excellently against it
- Be responsible for reviewing, structuring, and supporting the career paths of Directors, Seniors Directors and VPs. Designing and implementing a repeatable process with appropriate and clear guidelines surrounding promotion
- Review and support the Executive team's development - identifying individual's needs on a yearly basis so that they can be at their best to drive success
- Support Executive team facilitation - Understanding executive team dynamics and actioning plans to ensure the Exco team work well together and have honest, transparent and effective relationships
- Evolve and optimize the leadership and management development offering to support productivity, employee experience, and organizational success
Organisational Effectiveness
- Ensure they have a clear, embedded process for defining, executing and reporting back on achievement vs OKRs.
- Review productivity of each department and make recommendations based on data e.g., software development
- Oversee the introduction of new productivity measures in Software Engineering to drive and maximise success factors
- Review the Long-Term Plans (LTPs) and ensure that the correct positions globally, including ExCo and leadership, are in the correct geographies. Will plan and execute changes as required
- Ensure any location strategies, for the purpose of efficiencies and effectiveness, are planned and executed
- Take a proactive role in suggesting global TOM changes
