We have an extremely busy charity events calendar here at Investigo. Not only do we challenge all our teams to put on their own fundraising activity, as a business we host a number of charity initiatives over the course of the year that our employees, clients and candidates can all get involved with.
Some of previous events and amount raised include:
This May, a team of 35 cyclists set off from our London office and embarked on an ambitious cycle ride challenge that involved tackling 450km in just three days. The cycle ride took them through three different countries, through the Netherlands, France and Belgium. This challenge has been running for over four years across different cycling routes and countries and this year we saw our biggest number of participants get involved, even the CEO got on his bike! It was a huge achievement by all who took part.
Amount Raised: £15,802.70
Often described as the best night of our fundraising calendar, the hotly anticipated Investigo Charity Quiz was our biggest yet. Working with our annual charity partner, Panathlon, our aim was to raise money to provide even more sporting opportunities for young people with disabilities, as well as raise awareness around disability in the workplace. On Thursday 4th April, Investigo hosted over 200 clients at The Fable near Holborn. Participating companies went head-to-head in a general knowledge quiz hoping to win the honour of being the 2019 champions. The evening, however didn’t stop there as our charity auction and raffle presented our guests with an opportunity to bid for some fantastic lots from 5-star holidays to tickets for The Who and Fleetwood Mac.
Amount Raised £27,000
One of our most highly anticipated charity events of the year is our music gig. Hosted at a gritty Brick Lane live music venue, InvestiGIG welcomes bands and DJs from across the business to showcase their musical talent. The charity gig has been fortunate enough to attract the attention of locally signed artists, who often share an affinity with the charities we are fundraising for. We have brought headline acts Paradisia and DJ Sammy Porter to the stage and sold out the venue on both occasions.
Amount Raised £2,500
