Associate Accountant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a large and progressive finance team. Focusing on reporting, analysis, month end processes and management accounting this is a fantastic role for the right candidate to progress their finance career further.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist with the month end close
• Assist with accruals, prepayments and intercompany journals
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting
• Balance Sheet reconciliations to high degree of detail
• Prepare and submit audit information
• Monthly cost centres reviews
• Assist with process improvements
• Build close working relationships with the Finance team as well as intercompany stakeholders
• Posting of journals and present to management
• There will also a large emphasis on management accounting and month end processes.

Skills and education:

• Advanced Excel skills
• Comfortable handling large volumes of data
• Systems: Oracle and Hyperion
• Part-qualified Accountant (AAT/ACCA)
