Business Analyst

I am currently mandated to appoint a Senior Business analyst to join a Leading Media organisation. The role is responsible and accountable for subject matter expertise and detailed understanding of one, or more, lines of business, enabling IT to deliver business application services. The BA may be involved (as necessary) in every stage of the IT delivery process from project inception through to project delivery and into post-production support and maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Serve as liaison between Business and IT; translating business needs into functional business requirements
• Build relationship as a trusted business partner with key business executives and be focal point for delivery of IT services
• Identifying strategic application of IT and initiating investigation and development of innovative methods of exploiting IT assets, to the benefit of the business.
• Initiating and facilitating open communication and discussion between stakeholders. Captures and disseminates technical and business information

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant IT industry work experience as a business analysis
• Ability to work closely with business partners and technical teams
• Proven practical experience with analysis and/or support to IT business processes.
• Finance and/or Accounting experience
