C# SDET - Test Automation

This position will be working on a real-time trading and matching platform for cash, physical and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, including fixed income/repo and commodities. The application supports multiple
execution styles including central limit order book, auctions and RFQs.

The team you will join are small, dedicated and focused. They are a group of open-minded, experienced developers and QAs, based in London. The team directly shape the future of the product and are trusted to make all the technical decisions. They are an innovative and reactive team offering quick answers to technological challenges and business opportunities, both for external and internal customers

We are seeking an experienced test automation consultant to work on the existing frameworks and help improve the frameworks as they are migrated to modern technologies. You will come in to the team and play an important role in this journey.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Design, implement, and execute key automated test suites using C#, Selenium
• Identify automation needs/gaps and document the test plans as needed
• Plan and execute sprint goals for test automation
• Regularly check- in/review code in BitBucket or similar source control system
• Understand testing methodologies and support test efforts for the team as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Good communication skills
• Team player and self driven individual
• Extensive experience in Agile environment
• At least 5 years of hands on experience in test automation in variety of tech stack

Applications

• Must have experience in C#.Net based test automation frameworks for Web
• Experience in BDD using Selenium/ Specflow
• An understanding of the principles behind key web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience in working with cloud based technologies, preferably GCP is an advantage
• Proficiency in Manual Testing including Test Planning/execution, defect analysis and reporting
• CI/CD pipeline automation experience is an advantage
• Experience in Git and Jenkins
• Knowledge of Jira , Confluence or similar tools
• Experience in working with Front End Trading applications is an advantage
