Commercial Finance Analyst

Investigo are partnering with a high growth FMCG business based in Leicester who have a new requirement for a Commercial Finance Analyst. Due to a period of sustained growth (even during this unprecedented time) they require a individual to work closely with the finance and operation team providing detailed analysis around margin, pricing and performance.

The business supplies a number of products to various retailers, and this role will be pivotal in providing clear analysis on price and strategy for the end user.

This is a highly visible role within the business and you will work with a number of different stakeholders.

This would suit an individual who has a genuine interest in providing commercial analysis to the wider business rather than just number crunching.

Due to the nature of the role, it will require someone who has got a finance "brain"

It's hard to write down specifics on daily duties, as this will have a number of ad hoc responsibilities and the daily/ weekly requirements will change all the time.

Some key responsibilities:

• Providing detailed analysis and commentary
• Providing timely reports of financial performance that supports decision making
• Providing financial analysis
• Collating approval packs for the Senior Management Team
• Providing scenarios and solutions to internal and external stakeholders
• Providing detailed reasoning and variance analysis
