Job description

​​​​​An NHS Hospital based in the South of the UK is seeking to recruit a Comms Lead to start asap on an SOW basis, paying £480/day outside IR35.
Key duties and responsibilities entail -

  • Leading the Communications within the EPR Connecting Care Programme, working alongside the comms team; providing oversight and coordination across the wider Transformation effort, inclusive of Change Management and Training
  • Provision of deliverables including:
  • Communications (forming basis for the overarching Transformation Approach)
  • Communications (month by month view of Comms & Engagement activities)
  • Templates, frameworks and digital/print media
  • User-friendly Timeline overview of Transformation activities
  • Key Message Framework
  • Engagement Packs for relevant groups (Leadership, Super Users, Champions, SMEs etc.)
  • Stakeholder Map
  • Coordination & use of Comms tools such as MS Teams, SharePoint, Intranet, Trust App, email etc.
  • Facilitation & organisation, in conjunction with other Programme team members, of planned engagement events
  • Chairing & facilitation of Communications Steering Group
  • Attendance and contribution to Operational Readiness Group and subsequent activities
  • Facilitation and planning of internal Programme Team workshops focusing on required 'soft' skills, shaping the transformation & skills, tools & tips
  • Establishing working relationship and collaboration internally within Programme team, focusing on Change, Training and Comms
  • Liaison and relationship building across relevant Trust groups, joining Programme team with Divisional Leadership, C-suite, Trust Communications
  • Identification & escalation where necessary of Risks & Issues pertaining to Comms & Engagement, providing proposed mitigation where possible
  • Liaison with Oracle Cerner counterparts to ensure combined understanding and delivery of Comms & Engagement objectives
  • Constant, consistent engagement with overarching Trust Comms teams to ensure alignment with wider Trusts' communications campaigns, initiatives and strategic goals
