Construction Project Manager

Are you a freelance construction project manager willing to work oversees 50% of the time?

My client, a small consultancy based in the UK, has been appointed as the trusted adviser and delivery partner to work on the construction of various hotels and resorts in Albania. Over the next 3 years, a portfolio of projects will be constructed from the ground up working alongside local contractors. The role of the project managers is to liaise directly with site staff and key stakeholders to ensure the build is kept on time, to budget and a high standard.

You will be the main point of contact for all enquiries regarding your site and responsible for setting up and implementing procedures and best practices. Regular contact with the multiple Designers, Architects, Directors and Investors will be required to keep the project running smoothly.

Offers:

• £400/day rate outside IR35
• Accommodation and food whilst on-site
• Transport to and from Albania (from a UK airport)
• Minimum 1 year contract, likely to extend

Requirements:

• International project management experience
• Experience in large, complex builds from ground up through to completion
• Knowledge and experience working on-site and liaising with site staff and sub-contractors
• Experience within hotel builds is desirable but not essential
• Confidence and ability to gain respect when dealing with contractors
